Syntax
break [duration]
Description
Send a break signal for duration*0.25 seconds to the current window. For non-POSIX systems the time interval may be rounded up to full seconds. Most useful if a character device is attached to the window rather than a shell process (see also chapter “Window Types”). The maximum duration of a break signal is limited to 15 seconds.
